ADCO-MAYOGEL Suspension Antacid
ADCO-MAYOGEL is a sugar-free antacid suspension that neutralises stomach acid and is indicated for the relief of gastric acidity, dyspepsia and discomfort associated with peptic ulcers.
Directions
Adults only: Shake well before use. Take two to three 5 ml medicine measures one to three hours after meals and at bedtime, according to need. Do not use the maximum daily dosage for longer than two weeks except under a doctor’s advice and supervision.
Composition per 15 ml
- Aluminium hydroxide gel dried, equivalent to aluminium oxide: 282 mg
- Magnesium trisilicate, equivalent to magnesium oxide: 120 mg
- Alcohol: 3.10% v/v
- Preservatives: methylparaben 0.20% m/v and propylparaben 0.02% m/v

Important information
- Do not use if allergic to any ingredient or if you have impaired kidney function, except under medical advice.
- Do not take with a prescription antibiotic containing tetracycline.
- The safety of this medicine in pregnancy has not been established.
- Antacids may interfere with absorption of other medicines; ask a pharmacist about suitable dose spacing.
- Store at or below 25°C in an airtight container.
- Keep out of reach of children.
