This Refunds & Returns Policy forms part of the ClarifaiOnline.co.za Website Terms and Conditions.

ClarifaiOnline.co.za is operated by Tridev (Pty) Ltd trading as Mere-Ridge Pharmacy (“Mere-Ridge Pharmacy”, “Clarifai Online”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

By placing an order with Mere-Ridge Pharmacy, you acknowledge and agree to this Refunds & Returns Policy.

1. General Policy

Mere-Ridge Pharmacy is committed to complying with applicable South African consumer protection, pharmacy, and healthcare regulations.

Due to the nature of pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical, and consumable products, certain products may not be eligible for return, exchange, or refund.

All return requests remain subject to:

  • applicable South African law;
  • health and safety regulations;
  • pharmacy regulatory requirements;
  • and product inspection and verification procedures.

2. Medicines and Regulated Products

For patient safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance, medicines and certain regulated healthcare products may not be returned once:

  • dispensed;
  • delivered;
  • collected;
  • or removed from the pharmacy supply chain.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • prescription medicines;
  • temperature-sensitive products;
  • opened healthcare products;
  • personal-use medical items;
  • certain consumables and nutritional products;
  • and products restricted by applicable law.

3. Eligible Returns

Products may be eligible for return, replacement, or refund where:

  • the incorrect product was supplied;
  • the product arrived damaged;
  • the product is defective;
  • the product materially differs from the confirmed order;

4. Return Conditions

Mere-Ridge Pharmacy reserves the right to refuse returns that:

  • breach pharmacy regulations;
  • show evidence of misuse or tampering;
  • or do not meet return eligibility requirements.

5. Incorrect, Damaged, or Defective Products

If you receive an incorrect, damaged, or defective product, you must notify Mere-Ridge Pharmacy as soon as reasonably possible after delivery or collection.

Where applicable, customers may be requested to provide:

  • photographs of the product;
  • batch information;
  • packaging details;
  • or additional supporting information.

Mere-Ridge Pharmacy may, at its discretion:

  • replace the product;
  • issue a refund;
  • provide store credit;
  • or arrange collection and inspection.

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will generally be processed using the original payment method where reasonably possible.

Refund processing times may vary depending on:

  • bank processing times;
  • payment gateway processing;
  • verification procedures;
  • and product inspection requirements.

Mere-Ridge Pharmacy is not responsible for delays caused by third-party financial institutions or payment providers.

7. Delivery Fees and Service Charges

Delivery fees, courier charges, transaction costs, or service fees may be non-refundable unless:

  • required by law;
  • the return results from an error by Mere-Ridge Pharmacy;
  • or the product was defective or incorrectly supplied.

8. Prescription Orders

Prescription medicine orders remain subject to:

  • prescription verification;
  • clinical review;
  • legal and regulatory requirements;
  • and pharmacist approval.

Mere-Ridge Pharmacy reserves the right to:

  • delay;
  • refuse;
  • or cancel prescription-related orders

where prescriptions are:

  • invalid;
  • expired;
  • incomplete;
  • unlawful;
  • or clinically inappropriate.

Where a prescription order is cancelled before dispensing, any eligible refund will be processed in accordance with this Policy.

9. Promotions and Discounted Products

Products purchased as part of promotions, specials, bundles, clearance sales, or discount campaigns may be subject to additional return limitations where permitted by law.

Any promotional benefits associated with returned items may be reversed or adjusted accordingly.

10. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Customers are encouraged to contact Mere-Ridge Pharmacy directly regarding any payment concerns before initiating chargebacks or payment disputes with financial institutions.

Mere-Ridge Pharmacy reserves the right to investigate disputed transactions and provide supporting records to payment providers where necessary.

11. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Refunds & Returns Policy limits or excludes any rights available to consumers under applicable South African consumer protection legislation, including the Consumer Protection Act where applicable.
