Submission of a medical aid claim does not guarantee:

  • medical aid approval;

Mere-Ridge Pharmacy reserves the right to request payment directly from the patient where claims are declined, reversed, unpaid, or partially settled.

6. Co-Payments and Shortfalls

Where medical aid schemes only partially cover products or services, patients may be required to pay:

  • co-payments;
  • benefit shortfalls;
  • or non-funded portions of the transaction.

Orders may be delayed pending settlement of outstanding amounts where applicable.
