Overview
Fresubin Diben Drink is a nutritionally complete, high-caloric (1.5 kcal/mL) oral nutritional supplement with fibre. It is intended for the dietary management of patients with or at risk of malnutrition, in particular for patients with impaired glucose metabolism such as impaired glucose tolerance, stress-induced hyperglycaemia, and diabetes mellitus.
Carbohydrate and Fat Profile
The formulation has a modified carbohydrate profile with a low glycaemic index (GI < 37) and a balanced fat profile that is high in monounsaturated fatty acids. It also contains fish oil.

- Suitable as a sole source of nutrition.
- Dosage must be determined by a healthcare professional according to the patient’s needs.
- Recommendation for supplementary nutrition: 2–3 bottles per day (600–900 kcal).
- Recommendation for complete nutrition: 5 bottles per day (1500 kcal).
- Not suitable for children under 3 years. Use with caution in children under 6 years.
- Not suitable for patients with galactosaemia.
- Ensure adequate fluid intake.
- Not for parenteral (I.V.) use.
- Not suitable where enteral nutrition is not permitted (e.g., acute gastrointestinal bleeding, gut atonia, ileus and others).
- Not suitable for patients with severe forms of malassimilation, or those with congenital inability to metabolise nutrients contained in the product.
- Allergens: contains milk and soy. Contains fish oil.
- Storage: store at room temperature. Once opened, refrigerate and use within 24 hours. Shake well before use. Best served chilled.
