FORA 6 Blood Glucose Test Strips are intended for use with the FORA 6 Connect Multi-Functional Monitoring System to measure blood glucose levels. Testing can be performed using fresh whole blood samples obtained from the fingertip, palm, forearm, or upper arm.
The strips require a small blood sample volume of only 0.5 μL and provide results in approximately 5 seconds. The system measurement range is 10 mg/dL to 600 mg/dL.
According to the provided product information, the test strips can be used for neonatal testing, are not affected by altitudes up to 3,275 m (10,742 ft), and are intended for use where hematocrit levels are between 0% and 70%.
Do not perform blood glucose testing during or soon after a xylose absorption test, as xylose in the blood may produce elevated glucose results.
